Join Maya Friedman, MA, an early childhood educator with 20+ years of experience in play-based, Reggio-inspired learning, for a hands-on workshop on making space for creative play in everyday life. Together, we’ll explore why play matters to young children and how to support their ideas without directing every activity or focusing on a finished product. You’ll discover ways to use loose parts, art materials, nature, blocks, playdough, and sensory bins to invite exploration at home. Maya will also share practical ideas for asking thoughtful questions, setting boundaries around mess, and creating inviting play spaces without adding more work to your day.
